TJ Lavin has been repping SS all over the place recently. He’s the host of his own challenge show on MTV and this week wore our “Black and Yellow” classic. His Twitter was blowing up the following day with people asking what brand the shirt was and where they could buy it. So we’ve decided to do an exclusive re-run through www.danscomp.com so the US market can get hold of the tee that was previously on available through our UK based website. We’ll keep you posted when it drops in a couple of weeks.

2012 is going to be a big year for the new SS World Team.. We’ve teamed up with Bensink BMX Gates from Holland and stepped our line up of riders to include some great new additions to the team. Darryn Goodwin from Australia is now joined by Jordy Van der Heijde (Holland), Adrien Demaria(France) Alfredo Campo last years Junior World Champion (Equador)Rogerio Reis (Brazil) Kyle Evans (UK) Leopold Tramier (France) Nicolas Santolini (Argentina)….We also have Shanze Reade who is repping SS and runiing our frame and parts right through her Olympic campaign… We are stoked to have Shanze on board. The team is hitting all the major events on the worldwide calendar so look out for the black and yellow crew.

R.I.P Thomas Hancock

Honouring Thomas Hancock who tragically passed away early Sunday morning in a road accident in Riverside CA.  A good friend of Stephen and all the SS crew. A shredder on the bike with amazing style and family guy with a wife and two beautiful young children. He was loved amongst the tight So.Cal scene. He’d always come to hang out at Stephen’s house and was one of the good guys Stephen could always rely on to visit and be there when he needed them. Last night at Da Compound Skatepark in Perris his friends and family turned out to ride for Thomas, paying tribute and celebrating his life. He’ll be missed by everyone who knew him. Ride in Peace up there fella!
